Djeco: Kawaiiland Stencil Sæt

The grooves on these stencils really guide the pencil smoothly, so even my shaky hand turned out a perfect kawaii cat. Five sheets is enough variety to keep my niece busy for an afternoon, and the pastel worlds they create are just adorable.

My daughter grabbed these and immediately started tracing the pastel characters — the plastic is sturdy enough that even her wobbly six-year-old hand gets crisp outlines. The five designs give her plenty of variety, and I love that they’re actually reusable.

The grooves really do guide the pencil—my six-year-old went from frustrated doodles to a perfect little cat face on her first try. The plastic feels sturdy enough to survive being tossed in her art bin, and I love that each stencil has its own pastel scene to color in.
