Moulin Roty: Lommesolur - Le Jardin Du Moulin

My six-year-old loves checking it on the walk to school whenever the sun's out. The shadow really does line up with the hour markings, and it's slim enough to live in her coat pocket without getting in the way.

We took it camping this weekend and the kids were obsessed with lining up the needle to check the shadow, it actually got them asking real questions about how the sun moves. It's genuinely pocket-sized too, which is perfect since it lived in my jacket all afternoon.

My son's face lit up the first time he saw the needle's shadow move across the dial—it's genuinely magical for a six-year-old. The whole thing is small enough to vanish into a jeans pocket, which makes it perfect for spontaneous backyard science lessons.
