Wee Gallery: Fargelegg Badebok: Hvem er i dammen?

The pages go from soft pastel to vivid colors the second they hit the water, which never fails to get a giggle out of my baby. The pond creatures are charming and the book holds up great after dozens of baths, though I do have to resist squeezing it myself.

The color-change effect is so magical to watch—my little one shrieks with joy every time we dip a page and the pond creatures brighten up. The illustrations are detailed enough that we can talk about frogs and ducks while she chews on the corners.

My toddler is obsessed with flipping the pages under the faucet and watching the duck and frog appear out of nowhere. The illustrations are simple enough for a baby to focus on, and it’s held up well to daily splashing. This has made bath time way less of a fight.
